2010.004 Tea time!

Mmm… tea kettle is whistling! This kettle does its job perfectly well. It heats quickly, is well balanced for easy and safe pouring, and has a nice loud whistle with reasonably good tone that I hear from anywhere around the house. Is it my father’s voice in my head, pointing out the beauty of form that follows function? I often think of Dad when I use this kettle.

Today had me back to work after a break. Good work with great people. Followed by a reviving nap, then ensemble practise with my fellow musicians. Shortly after this photo was taken, a fragrant mug of lavender & chamomile tea was steaming in my hands. Ahh… a comforting end to a satisfying day!
